De wortels van de Göritzhainer Maschinenfabrik gaan terug tot het begin van de jaren 1970, toen Karl-Friedrich Machan zijn eigen bedrijf op het gebied van transporttechniek oprichtte in Augsburg. In 1993 verhuisde het bedrijf naar Lunzenau.

Sinds 2022 leidt zijn zoon Jürgen Machan het familiebedrijf.

AKO Armaturen & Separationstechnik GmbH is a German company founded in 1984 by Antoine Kopp. We are a manufacturer of pinch valves and have successfully placed our products in the market for more than two decades.
