Elastomeer membranen zijn trillingsbestendige afdichtingen met een veeleisend eisenprofiel. Ze maken dynamische afdichtingstaken mogelijk die niet mogelijk zijn met conventionele materialen zoals rubberen afdichtingen of O-ringen.
Er wordt veel aandacht besteed aan de bestendigheid tegen veranderende drukken, temperaturen en media met behoud van onbeperkte mobiliteit en duurzaamheid.
