DrM, Dr. Mueller AG werd in 1982 opgericht door Dr. Hans Mueller (1913-1984), afgestudeerd aan het Zwitserse Federale Instituut voor Technologie in Zürich. Het is de nalatenschap van deze briljante industriële ondernemer en creatieve uitvinder, wiens invloed voortleeft in de chemische procesindustrie. Zijn grenzeloze vindingrijkheid werd weerspiegeld in meer dan vierhonderd uitvindingen waarvoor patenten werden verleend tijdens zijn academische en industriële carrière. Verscheidene hiervan brachten een revolutie teweeg in chemische processen in talloze landen.
