Nu we de 21e eeuw zijn binnengetreden, een tijdperk van internet, waarin men zich steeds meer bewust wordt van kwesties als milieubescherming, humanistische overwegingen, veiligheid voor de operator en eisen aan het uiterlijk, bevinden CNC-machines zich in een fase van bloeiende ontwikkeling in Taiwan, waardoor fabrikanten van werktuigmachines toegang krijgen tot verschillende eisen en gezichtspunten van "mechanisch plaatwerk".

Met de algehele opwaardering van mechanische technologie na 2000, is PMCI nieuwe competities en uitdagingen tegengekomen door zich verder in te zetten voor het opwaarderen van haar technologie en het opstellen van de procesplanning en het opstellen van een meer expliciete strategische kaart en project voor procesverbetering.
