Our company a+s vertriebs gmbh Hamburg was founded in 1978 as a service partner for freewheels, backstops and overrunning couplings by Stieber. Since that time we evolved into a worldwide acting specialist for power transmission. Our assortment consists of more than 6.000 different products, all by well-known manufacturers from Germany, Europe and the US.
As a traditional family business our standards are integrety, trust, veracity and most of all for outstanding customer service. With that we enable our long-term business partners to perform better and increase their reputation as well as their market share.

In a modern building complex encompassing more than 5.000 sqm of production area, we manufacture clamping tools that enjoy an outstanding reputation in worldwide markets. This does apply to the high standard of our series products as well as our customer-oriented special production, which our engineers develop in close contact with demanding customers.
From the initial consultation with our experts in the plant and with our representatives on scene, through production and final assembly and culminating in permanent quality control, we work competently and enthusiastically on clamping systems.

OTT-JAKOB Spanntechnik GmbH specialises in manufacturing tool clamping systems for machine tools and today is one of the key players in the global market. The company covers the entire range of tool clamping technology applications with manual and automatic clamping systems, rotary unions, unclamping units and electronic assistance systems. Core competence is the development of customer-specific complete systems.
OTT-JAKOB relies on an in-house value chain and develops, designs and produces the key components of its clamping systems solely at its headquarters in Lengenwang in the German Allgäu region. With a state-of-the-art machine outfit, the company is able to manufacture large volumes and even highly customised solutions cost-effectively. OTT-JAKOB employs about 230 people. The international sales network consists of 15 representations on three continents.
