The Siebenhaar Company was founded in 1965 by Ted Siebenhaar, B.Sc.(Eng.). Siebenhaar was a pioneer in the field of planetary gears built in winches.
In terms of technology, Siebenhaar was a leader in the fields of winches, swingers and slew drives. However, it was not until 1986 that the market began an upward trend.
Siebenhaar-Antriebstechnik was sold in 1986 to the Krupp Group. Three years later, Dr. Jamshid Yektai acquired the Siebenhaar Company from the Krupp Group. The new development of the Siebenhaar Company as an independent family business began in 1990 with approximately 30 employees and annual revenues of five million German marks.
Within just 18 years - from 1990 to 2008, the Siebenhaar Company has developed into the leading designer and manufacturer of:

• Custom made specialty gears
Since 2008 until today 2013, the Siebenhaar Company leading position has been expanded. Today's largest, most powerful and most compact winches, free fall winches and slew drives are supplied by Siebenhaar.

In 2010, the number of Siebenhaar employees increased to 200, which is seven times the number of employees in 1990. At the same time, sales have increased more than fifteenfold. Innovation, flexi-bility, customer service and high quality are the hallmarks of our company.
Approximately 10% of our annual sales is reinvested in research and development, and an additional 10% is invested in the production technology. We hereby lay the foundation to make a significant contribution toward helping our customers achieve their desired goals.

ZF Industrieantriebe Witten GmbH, the successor of Lohmann & Stolterfoht GmbH (L + S) supplies drive solutions for industrial, drive, winch and swivel applications: Durable industrial gear units REDULUS GMH / GME for ropeways, tunnel boring machines, roller mills, shredders, continuous casting plants, forging manipulators with output torques from 70 to 3,300 kNm; robust GFA / GPT drive units as Turas or wheel gearboxes for mining excavators, crawler cranes and large construction machines with output torques from 250 to 2,200 kNm; Precise swing drives GFB for cranes and excavators on land and at sea with output torques from 50 to 750 kNm; reliable winch gear GPT-W for all types of cranes for rope pull forces from 373 to 1,200 kN; generator gearboxes with a power of up to 9.5 MW and azimuth gears for wind turbines; highly torsionally flexible couplings SPIROFLEX KS, highly torsionally flexible clutches PNEUMAFLEX KA and torsionally stiff clutches PNEUMASTAR KU. Our worldwide service includes proven early detection testing programs (such as visual inspection, endoscopy, structure-borne noise measurements, repairs and oil analysis) as well as fast on-site support. You will receive original spare parts in original equipment manufacturer quality - even after the end of the series. We take over the replacement and repair of couplings/clutches as well as large gearboxes, which were supplied by us in the past under the brands Lohmann and Stolterfoht (L & S), Mannesmann Rexroth or Bosch Rexroth.
