The beginnings of Dilo Maschinenfabrik at Eberbach date back to the year 1902.
Today the DiloGroup is made up of the following companies:

• Temafa Maschinenfabrik GmbH,

a worldwide renowned producer of machinery for the opening and blending of natural and synthetic fibres,

• Spinnbau GmbH at Bremen, specialized in the manufacturing of cards and web-forming machines,
• Oskar Dilo Maschinenfabrik KG at Eberbach focusing on crosslappers and needle looms and
• Dilo Systems GmbH offering complete lines for the production of nonwovens.

The company philosophy is based on the central position of the customer and his requirements as well as the actual realization of his expectations.
Dilo is the leading machine building company for needle felting technology and renowned for numerous innovations and inventions in this sector. When selling its special machinery and installations, Dilo relies on more than 60 agents and on own branches in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, Moscow, Russia, Shanghai, China and Istanbul, Turkey. We export about 90 % of our machinery.
Dilo supplies turnkey installations and is responsible for the coordination of all commercial, contractual and technical questions.
Dilo customers may carry out textile trials and development work in Eberbach where completely equipped textile technology centers with installations for the production of nonwovens are at their disposal.
Numerous inventions and new developments of Dilo have initiated new technology steps. This has been the case with the DI-LOOP and DI-LOUR technology as well as the circular needling techniques RONTEX and BELTEX.
Being a medium-sized company Dilo tries to stay attractive by continuous innovations and perfect service. A team of mechanics, electronics and application technologists offers worldwide support from the company’s headquarters and at the customer’s site.
We deliver worldwide installations for the production of nonwovens which are used in the following applications: floor and wall coverings, automotive interior linings, filter media for liquid and gas filtration, geotextiles, blankets, shoe and jacket linings, artificial leather, isolation and insulation, roofing material, wipes for househould and industry, interlinings for the apparel industry, medical and hygienic nonwovens, paper machine felts and many other technical textiles.
Our machines are manufactured order-related and are adapted to customer’s wishes in a workshop-oriented standard production. The lot sizes can only be put together in the field of components and parts. The number of end products – i. e. of finished needle looms – is about 100 machines/year and thus in a region where a production site outside Germany is out of question at the moment.
The largest Dilo needle looms for the paper machine felt industry are about 16 m wide, 4 m deep and 10 m high. Their overall weight is up to 1000 tons.

A KMD Plastifizierungstechnik GmbH é uma empresa que desenvolve e fabrica extrusoras de alta qualidade para o processamento de plásticos e sistemas de laboratório para a fiação de fibras.

A KMD possui uma forte equipa de investigação e desenvolvimento com uma vasta experiência e conhecimentos numa variedade de áreas, incluindo engenharia mecânica, mecânica de fluidos, química fina, tecnologia de plásticos, fibras sintéticas, tecnologia de não-tecidos, têxteis, automação e outras. Para além das nossas actividades internas, estamos também envolvidos num grande número de projectos de I&D conjuntos com universidades na Europa, nos EUA e na Ásia nestas áreas. As nossas actividades de I&D centram-se em tecnologias para a plastificação de plásticos. Assim, a carteira de produtos que desenvolvemos e fabricamos vai desde extrusoras para plastificar plásticos e fabricar novos materiais até sistemas para produzir microfibras.
