Ligado a este programa principal (granuladores, moinhos de tubos, moinhos de perfis, trituradores, instalações de trituração fina, instalações de lavagem, instalações de lavagem a quente, secadores, lavadores por fricção, lavadores intensivos, contentores de separação, ...) está um departamento especial de engenharia mecânica (moinhos de martelos, tesouras de guilhotina, trituradores de parafuso, separadores de fardos), que implementa o processamento de materiais recicláveis, por exemplo, sucata de computadores, materiais isolantes, blocos de betão celular, resíduos de madeira, etc.
Fundada em 1995, a empresa emprega cerca de 70 pessoas nas suas instalações em Sinsheim-Reihen, que formam uma equipa experiente e inovadora nas áreas do desenvolvimento, engenharia, produção, administração e vendas. O departamento de vendas técnicas é o contacto em cooperação com mais de 40 representantes em todo o mundo.
O planeamento preciso e rentável é seguido por uma produção de ponta, que é constantemente monitorizada pela garantia de qualidade para produzir um produto que satisfaça os mais elevados requisitos da tecnologia de trituração.

In 1996 HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH started out with three employees at its headquarters in Bad Salzungen, Germany. The final assembly of the HAMMEL products takes place in the heart of Thuringia, in Bad Salzungen, Germany.
