Founded by my grandfather in 1946, our family-run company has been continually developing ever since in line with the market requirements – from a spare parts manufacturer for the mining industry to an internationally renowned specialist in power transmission engineering.
Today, we develop and produce torsionally flexible couplings at a high level of vertical integration under the REICH-KUPPLUNGEN brand. These products are predominantly used for combustion engines in stationary and mobile applications – for example in power generation plants, in construction machinery, in commercial vehicles, in railway engineering, and in the shipbuilding industry.
Continual progress is ensured through the work of our highly qualified and reliable employees. By applying cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, we are coming up with sophisticated coupling solutions at our parent company in Bochum. These are rooted on the experience that we have collected over all these years with the most various elastomer materials. Our own worldwide sales network has been significantly expanded in the recent years and serves as a basis for the global and sustainable success of the REICH-KUPPLUNGEN brand.

Headquartered in the town of Waldkraiburg in Upper Bavaria SGF is a world-wide active supplier for automotive and industrial customers. Founded in 1946 the company's name originally was „Süddeutsche Bremsbelag GmbH“.
In 2016 the company generated € 113 million in annual sales with approx. 640 employees, who are working at three locations in Germany. These employees are our asset. WHAT WE OFFER
SGF offers a wide range of flexible, temperature-resistant products for torque transmission and vibration absorption. Their main area of application is in the automotive industry and general machine and systems engineering. We offer couplings for drive and steering shafts, dampers for drive shafts, exhaust hangers and absorbers as well as a variety of rubber-metal parts for the bearing of different aggregates.
OUR MARKET POSITION
We are the market leader for torque transmission and have 60 years of experience in cord and bonding technology. Our technical know-how in rubber and silicone processing, highly qualified personnel and state-of-the-art development and production facilities are the basis for the high quality standards of our products. To fulfill the highest requirements of the automotive industry SGF has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949.
OUR OBJECTIVE
It is our goal to provide integrated and coordinated solutions. System solutions for torque transmission coupled with vibration and noise damping.
We focus not only on the product but also on service. Service, which is customized to the individual requirements of our customers – from use-oriented development to support with vehicle maintenance and spare parts.
Presently we make more than 9000 different Rubber Moulded Products for varied applications. Our company uses modern manufacturing process by using Desma Rubber Injection Moulding Machine & Tung yu Vacuum Moulding Machines. We are a 7 year old company, being part of the group which is in this business since 25 years. The company, over and above having modern rubber processing technology, has also modern facility to mould and process soft plastics TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomers).
