As raízes da Göritzhainer Maschinenfabrik remontam ao início dos anos 70, quando Karl-Friedrich Machan criou a sua própria empresa no domínio da tecnologia de transportadores em Augsburgo. Em 1993, a empresa mudou-se para Lunzenau.

O seu filho Jürgen Machan dirige a empresa familiar desde 2022.

A ATCE Energy, fundada em 2005 na Zona Industrial Organizada de Elazığ, está ao serviço dos sectores da energia, automação e eletrotécnica, produzindo painéis eléctricos para uso doméstico, industrial e de sistemas solares.
