The products were originally used for process and waste water treatment, with extensive experience being gained particularly in the food industry.

Especially in this area, it is of great importance that the equipment is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. The decision to exclusively use stainless steel and other high-quality materials was then quickly made. Right from the very beginning, the firm manufactured weaving reeds, the production of filter screens starting up two years later. Today, Karl Küfner KG is an owner-managed family company with over 300 employees at two sites. In Germany's southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg─the heartland of Germany's SME mechanical engineering and toolmaking industries─we research, develop and manufacture for some 500 customers worldwide.
