Here the Business Unit is primarily involved in the areas of wet and dry grinding, mixing, dispersing, de-aeration and classifying. The laboratory- and production-scale machines, as well as complete production lines, are used in almost all areas of industry, such as the forward-looking nanotechnology, the production of ink, minerals or foods. The bundling of processing know-how, our extensive machine program, solutions for customer-specific problems and our global presence are unique and hence the strength of the business unit.

ystral is a fast growing, owner-managed company in the mechanical and plant engineering industry. We focus on the construction of individualised mixing machines, dispersing machines and powder wetting machines as well as special mixing plants, dispersing plants and powder wetting plants for liquid mechanical process engineering. In addition, our process technologies also include emulsifying and homogenizing.
Our headquarter is located in Ballrechten-Dottingen, Germany. We are a medium-sized company with over 270 employees and subsidiaries in China, India and Singapore as well as numerous representatives worldwide. The Company PROBST & CLASS GmbH & Co. KG, which now belongs to the Falk family, was founded by Hermann Probst and Ewald Class in 1926. The company name and the globally recognized and protected abbreviation PUC originates from the founder‘s names.
The first patented PROBST & CLASS PUC colloid mill was introduced to the market in 1933 and since then, has been sold thousands of times throughout the world.
