In January 2011 ORTLIEB has merged with the sister company Wilhelm NARR GmbH & Co. KG and thus has integrated the known and reliable SERAC linear drives and servo spindles in its product range.
 
ORTLIEB reacts with new clamping concepts on market requirements and it is giving new impulses to the market. Some important DIN standards in the clamping technology are documenting this as they are based on our design and patents. At new developments ORTLIEB is focusing the Rubber-Flex® vulcanising technology at new developments of high value products. ORTLIEB has clear advantages in competition at the conception of machine specific clamping systems. The company also sees enormous potential in the automation for their customers. ORTLIEB has found a new way with the development, introduction and establishment of a total new clamping system for automatic tool changing in machine tools.
 
The ORTLIEB linear drive systems are based on an aerospace technology and convince by high force to size ratio as well as extreme durability. The systems are replacing hydraulic cylinders and are used in machine tools as well as assembly and production technology true to the slogan “current instead of oil“.
 
MADE IN GERMANY is the quality assurance of ORTLIEB. The company pledge itself to that by means of our flexible production, our modern warehouse logistic and the wide product spectrum which ranges from simple standard steel collets to the individual manufacturing of spezial clamping solutions and drive systems.
