Description

The OBK Immersion Cooler series is used to cool oil or emulsion in tanks. The devices are placed onto the tank and then immerse in the liquid. Cooling is normally effected against recirculating air. Water-cooled devices are also possible. Temperature range of the medium is between 10 and 28 °C. Immersion coolers are placed onto the tank and then immerse in the liquid with their evaporator. The evaporator has a very flat design and is therefore particularly suitable for very shallow tanks.

An oil cooler withdraws like all cooling systems of a warmth system or thermal energy so that it is not overheated. Thereby it also refers to heat reduction. With the technical discharge of heat an actual cooling system is meant where the resulting dissipated heat is withdrawn. This is performed in order to keep a certain constant thermal circumstance for example to cool or preserve groceries. There the oil serves naturally only as an indirect coolant. However a lot of thermal energy extraction can indeed be prevented by insulation. However supercooling of living organisms can lead to denaturation and eventually death of the cells by freezing.
