The roll-out shelf load arms are extended with a crank via rotating spindles. Rolling out is controlled and is limited by the depth of the shelf arm. Spindle shaft and crank turns have a transmission ratio of 2.36:1. At full load of 5,000 kg, the initial turn may require a crank force of approx. 15 kg, after which only light force is required.
Each shelf unit consists of at least two supporting frames, longitudinal connectors and one control column per side of the shelf. With individually adjusted distances, several support frames can be used per rack, depending on the type of long goods.
The slinging of the stored goods on very high levels can be carried out, for example, using platform ladders or work lifts. Remaining lengths are stored with the aid of support pallets, or the supporting frames are placed closer together according to the lengths.

• The cross-knurled drive shaft, with its non-slip outer surface, allows controlled roll-in and roll-out movements of the thrust arm both empty and under load.
