In addition to the one hundred percent electric vehicle, there are also so-called hybrid vehicles. With these, the range is extended by an internal combustion engine. The advantage of an electric motor is its high efficiency. In addition, the braking energy can be fed back into the storage system. It is important to remember that most electricity is not generated in conventional power plants in an environmentally friendly way. Thus, an electric vehicle does not emit 0.0g CO2. However, if most of the electricity is provided by renewable energies, the above assertion can be supported with a clear conscience. Due to rising energy prices, this technology will definitely be the technology of the future.
