Axial struts constitute an additionally connection between the axle and the undercarriage of the motor vehicle. They give the axles additional stability and tracking stability and increase at the same time their flexibility. Furthermore axial struts are also necessary for the steering of the vehicle. Thus they are mounted at different turning points beside both of the front wheels so that they are moved in the relevant direction through a steering movement and the vehicle is steerable.
