Dr. Paul Lohmann^® is a medium-sized, owner-managed manufacturer and developer of mineral salts with headquarters in Emmerthal. The product range comprises over 400 different salts, from aluminum to zinc, in a total of over 7,000 different specifications.
Dr. Paul Lohmann^® supplies its special salts worldwide to customers in the food, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors and - under the Lohtragon^® brand - to customers in industrial applications.
The consistently high quality of the mineral salts, continuous innovations in production processes and customer service have been part of the company's tradition for over 135 years.
Products are produced chemically pure or in accordance with all international pharmacopoeias, international food regulations and customer specifications. The company is able to vary a large number of physical and chemical parameters of its products, convert them into industrially usable dimensions and adapt them to the needs of changing markets.

As a middle-sized family concern we have remained true to our roots for over 150 years.
We look back with pride on our long-standing tradition. Carl Friedrich Spiess, spurred on by family ties with Justus von Liebig, set up a business manufacturing clay earth pigments in Kleinkarlbach in 1861.
The company has remained in the original premises in Kleinkarlbach a further manufacturing facility has since been added in Alsbach-Hähnlein.
Today we are an established traditional concern for liquid and solid materials in the chemical and chemical-technical field.
Our experience spans 150 years, enabling us to offer our customers broad-based know-how in chemical production.
