A balcony is a platform built on the building and above ground level. For safety reasons, a railing or wall is attached to the edge of the platform. This railing is called a parapet. Every apartment and every house, whether with garden or without garden, is better to let with a balcony, since the tenants will always ask whether the apartment has a balcony, even if they do not use the balcony later.
