Optimum sound insulation is becoming increasingly important in buildings, as it is necessary for people's well-being and health. Especially at the workplace, intensive and/or loud noises can significantly restrict the ability to concentrate and the absorption capacity. To create a good working atmosphere, soundproof doors are a good choice. They are usually made of steel and have optimum sound insulation. They have been tested and evaluated in the laboratory in accordance with the prescribed insulation standards DIN EN 20140/717-1. Since in reality there are no optimal conditions, 5dB should be deducted from the tested sound insulation value. In order to cover the special features of all noise sources individually, a power spectrum of 33dB to 57dB is offered for the respective structural situation. Sound insulation doors are available in thick or thin rebate and they can look very sophisticated with elegant handle sets as well as in stainless steel designs in the design look.
