Chain shackles according to DIN 745 and DIN 5699 are drop-forged and are available in various materials. Standard material is C 45 ( 1.0503 ) quenched and tempered. In the area of chain contact the shackles are induction hardened.
Besides C 45 the shackles can be delivered in Materials like 42CrMo4 or CrNi alloyed steel.
The shackles can be delivered with nuts and distance plates as per customer request. We can also deliver special chain shackles.
