Mikron Tool was born in 1998 from the former tooling department of the transfer machine manufacturer Mikron SA Agno. This has resulted in decades of experience in the development and manufacture of cutting tools. Operating as an independent company since 1998, starting with 25 employees, we are today a global tool supplier with headquarters in Switzerland (Agno, Ticino), a branch office with sales and manufacturing in Germany (Rottweil) and sales offices in USA and China. 200 employees are committed to the needs of customers every day, and a worldwide sales network with partner companies ensures customer proximity around the globe.

ZECHA Hartmetall-Werkzeugfabrikation GmbH has been one of the pioneers and trendsetters in the field of micro cutting, punching and forming tools for almost 60 years. Originating from the watch industry, the uncompromising focus on miniature tools with highest precision is not only reflected in the extensive stock program, but also in the special tool solutions.
Precision and quality are decisive factors for international use in various industries, such as medical and dental technology, watchmaking, automotive or tool and mold making. Experts from the internal research and development department are constantly developing the latest geometries and tools for unusual applications and state-of-the-art materials.
In addition, the reproducibility of the tools is ensured via the life number at the end of the shaft of each tool, even after years.

With ZECHA PRECISION TOOLS LIMITED in India (formerly Dagger Master Tool Industries Limited, founded in 1980), an Indian-German cooperation has existed since 1999. Together, ZECHA Germany and India have more than 80 years of experience in the manufacture of precision micro cutters and drills. With over 250 employees and latest generation multi-axis CNC grinding machines, sophisticated quality controls and leading innovations, precision and consistency are guaranteed.
