When assembling PCD inserts, Himmelwerk's induction technology enables precise and localized heating of the tool carriers for reliable soldering or bonding of PCD (polycrystalline diamond) inserts. Fast, non-contact heating ensures short cycle times, controlled heat input and consistently high joint quality - while at the same time protecting the temperature-sensitive PCD cutting materials. Inductive processes therefore ensure reproducible results and optimum integration into automated assembly processes.

Our standard portfolio covers operating frequencies from 4 kHz to 3,000 kHz and power ratings between one kilowatt and 250 kW. On request, we can also develop customized solutions for systems outside our core portfolio.
The size of our devices ranges from handy table-top units to cabinet systems weighing several hundred kilos.
