In addition to the calibratable axial tightening methods with the DISC and the CLAMP, the hydraulic lengthening of the bolt is often used. With the program dW1350 we also offer these systems to our customers.
Screw expansion cylinder
All models of the dW1350 series are designed for the maximum load of screws of strength class 10.9 with regard to their tensile force. The single-acting hydraulic system is retracted via a spring system after pressure relief. The nut is turned by hand using a gear wheel system accessible from the outside, which is operated by a hand ratchet.
JetBOOSTER
High operating pressures are often required to operate hydraulic screw expansion cylinders. This usually requires independent hydraulic power units that cannot be used for any other hydraulic device. With the JetBOOSTER, we offer a powerful pressure amplifier that uses low input pressures to quickly generate high output pressures for screwdriver spindles. And that up to 1,800 bar. The system is easy to handle and can be retrofitted to any double-acting hydraulic unit. Equipped with an overpressure valve, a check valve and a precision manometer, the JetBOOSTER is simply hooked onto the carrying handle of the hydraulic unit and is ready for operation.
