Toothed chain drives are used for bicycles. The gears, which are attached to the rear wheel and the bottom bracket, are moved with the aid of a chain. For this to happen, a cyclist must sit on the bike and pedal. This moves the front sprocket. Since the front and rear sprockets are connected by a bicycle chain, the pedaling force of the cyclist can be converted into movement force. The consequence is that the bike starts to move. The easiest way to get bicycles moving is with a small front sprocket and a large rear sprocket. In most cases, a bicycle with a gear change has a front triple sprocket and a rear sprocket cassette that often has six to eight sprockets. A bicycle would not ride without a toothed chain drive. The same applies to a motorcycle, but it no longer depends on the number of sprockets, but on the engine power. In order for the performance of a motorcycle to be optimally transmitted, a sufficiently strong chain must be present, otherwise it would break. This can also happen to a bicycle chain if it is exposed to excessive loads.
