KAWASAKI
Gas Turbine Europe GmbH (KGE)
is a subsidiary of the Kawasaki Industrial Gas Turbines Business
group. KAWASAKI has been involved
in the development, sales and service of industrial gas turbines
in the area of Kawasaki Heavy Industries since 1972. In 1998 Kawasaki
Heavy Industries Ltd., Japan, achieved revenues of USD 10 billion
world-wide and employed more than 17,000 people.
The company
KGE offers its customers a complete and tailor-made range of services
from a single supplier. In a committed and competent manner, it
plans, produces, sets up and supports energy plants primarily for
generating electricity and occasionally heat. The company registers
close to 100 installed gas turbine generator sets in Europe and
more than 5,000 world-wide and offers gas turbine generator sets
ranging from 600 to 7,000 kW (electrical) and 1,700 to 10,000 kW
(thermal).

The FEAG locations emerged in 1996 from the workshops for energy and automation technology of the Plant Engineering Division of Siemens AG. In 2003, all locations were merged into one company with headquarters in Erlangen. In 2007, the business operations were taken over by FEAG GmbH.
