Our Silica
Gel bulk granules are suitable for many applications, such as moisture
absorption at electronics or buffer relative humidity (RH buffer) e.g.
industrial drying facilities, in (museum)showcases or piano’s.
From a
saturation degree of approx 6%, the orange granulated material changes colour
continuously from orange to green. Silica gel is manufactured chemically. These
are glass-like, amorphous silicates, up to 98% of which are silicon dioxide
(SiO2). The water adsorption is equivalent to the adsorption capacity of
conventional DIN desiccants.
Silica Gel
from Canadaco BV does not contain Cobalt Chloride (II) (Silica Gel in blue or
purple) which will fall in the category IARC Group 2B. Our Silica Gel Orange
does not contain heavy metals as indicator and are free from DMF
(Dimethylfumarat).
