Description
The systematic drying of coated material permits reliable planning of subsequent production stages and the reallocation of costly work space. For these reasons, we design and install our proven drying tunnel concept precisely in accordance with a customer's working procedures and premises.
The cabinet of the rail-mounted drying tunnel comprises a solid welded steel frame covered by insulated segments, which maximise heat storage. Heating and ventilation units are sited in the interior of the cabinet. Traction drives move the drying tunnel on rails from one coating area to another.
During the drying process, warm circulating air pours horizontally over the surface of the components. Chilled air is drawn in, heated anew and again assists the drying process. Fresh air is required only for the burners. This system, which heats circulating air on site, offers short response times, a wide adjustment range, and an economic energy consumption.
