M12 series with cable connection for factory automation The ifm standard series for industrial applications Halogen-free PUR cable with high resistance to alternating bending, PUR housing material, gold contacts and protection class IP 68 guarantee a long service life in oily and greasy environments. Due to the international UL and CSA approvals, the devices are also highly accepted on the world market. M12 series with cable connection for the food sector This series is specially designed for the food and hygiene sector. High-quality PVC cables and housing materials, stainless steel union nuts made of V4A (1.4404) as well as gold contacts are ideal for applications in wet areas. A high degree of protection IP 68 and IP 69 K also withstand cleaning processes by steam jet. They are chemically resistant to most commercial cleaning agents. UL and CSA approval is also a matter of course for these devices. M12 series with cable connection for welding technology Especially for applications in automatic welding systems, several performance features must be reliably fulfilled simultaneously. This includes a long service life compared to welding spatter, which constantly affects the connectors. Radiation crosslinked, halogen-free PUR cables offer particularly effective protection. They prevent welding spatter from burning into the cable material, thus damaging it. Teflon-coated union nuts prevent welding of the connector to the sensor. A special banding by means of polyester fleece in the cable ensures a long service life even under strong torsional stress, such as in robot arms. It goes without saying that this series is also UL and CSA listed.

METZ CONNECT M12 sensor / actuator connection cables with molded M12-A coded connectors meet the typical requirements of the automation industry. The sensor plugs are available in different designs as well as with various numbers of poles. The diverse range of sensor plugs is supplemented, among other things, with 360 ° shielded and unshielded variants. All connection cables are available in PUR and PVC cable quality.

Circular connector system in M8 × 1/Ø 8 mm and M12 × 1 according to IEC 61076-2-101 are offered as connecting cables and connecting leads. The round connector systems in 1/2" and 7/8" are particularly suitable for applications with increased power requirements. Circular connectors in M16 × 0.75 and M23 × 1 are used to connect multiple distribution systems. Valve plugs according to EN 175301-803 in designs A, B, C or I are available with and without protective circuitry for the connection of a wide variety of valves.
