Connectors according to DIN 41 612 with a pitch of 2.54 mm have proven themselves for years for board-to-board applications as well as for cable-to-board applications. HARTING offers a wide range of DIN 41 612 connectors for data, signal, power and accessories.
The 160-pin VME64x connector family har-bus® 64 from HARTING is the extension of the 96-pin DIN 41 612 C series by two additional contact series. HARTING is the only manufacturer to offer the complete product range of VME64x connectors including male connectors, right-angle and straight female connectors, transfer frames, cable connectors and housings.
The Mini Coax connector with 6.25 mm pitch enables multi-pin, coaxial and high-frequency data transmission for board-to-board and cable-to-board applications. For device integration, straight and angled contact inserts in press-fit technology and SMT/SMC are available. The housings allow applications up to IP65.
har-bus® HM hard metric connectors with a pitch of 2.0 mm are the basis for building high-performance backplanes for control and industrial computer systems in 19" technology. The board-to-board connectors are available in press-fit technology for the backplane and solder versions for the daughter boards.
The TCA connectors with 0.75 mm pitch are the next generation of backplane connectors. The new concept supports alternatively direct or indirect plugging. A special connector is used for particularly robust connections based on indirect plugging. The HARTING MCE Micro Card Edge connector with 0.8 mm pitch in SMT assembly technology is suitable for board-to-board mezzanine applications and daughter cards directly plugged onto the board. The spacing of parallel boards and thus the complete mechanical design of the system can be made very flexible by connecting them via "intermediate boards" of different lengths.
HARTING's new har-flex® connector series with 1.27 mm pitch is a space-saving, robust and flexible PCB connector for a wide range of board-to-board and board-to-cable applications. In addition to straight connectors, the product family also consists of compatible insulation displacement connectors as well as angled versions.
har-flexicon® is the robust PCB connection technology for single wires. For the connection of industrial devices, components are available on the circuit board with grid dimensions of 1.27 mm, 2.54 mm, 3.50/3.81 mm and 5.00/5.08 mm, which can be processed using reflow soldering. For individual wire wiring, field-assemblable push-in spring-cage and insulation displacement connection technology is available.
