In order for a solar system (also called solar thermal system) to harness the radiant energy, collectors (solar collectors) are required. The collector is the most important component in a solar thermal system. It is the heart of the absorber (solar absorber). Its task is to absorb the radiant energy of the sun and convert it into heat.The converted radiant energy (solar energy) of the sun into heat energy is used to support heating and to heat drinking water. Making the solar radiation of our sun usable with the help of technical equipment and aids is called solar technology (solar energy technology). There are many application examples for the individual use of a solar system, whether private or commercial.
