Waste incineration is a process of waste treatment, which is carried out in waste incineration plants in the industry. But this process is also used in the cement industry, where waste replaces other fossil fuels. For this purpose, waste incineration is also considered as a thermal process of waste recycling. Most of the waste is disposed of in waste incineration plants. Furthermore, waste is also incinerated in so-called rotary kilns. This process is mainly used in the cement industry. In these plants, waste replaces fossil fuels as an energy source and is also referred to as secondary fuel in this context.
