The Achenbach GmbH specializes in the design, construction, installation and maintenance of steam boilers and related plant engineering. In 1890 the boiler forge Achenbach & Sohn was founded. This became Achenbach GmbH in 1987 . For more than 125 years, the name Achenbach has stood for steam boiler expertise.
With the development of the steam engine, the industrial revolution really took off. The energy of the steam generated in steam boilers was used as motive power for machines and for heating. Against this background, Heinrich Achenbach founded a boiler forge in Plettenberg-Ohle in 1890.

HERCO, founded in 1947, manufactures and supplies complete water treatment solutions for industrial, dialysis and hospital applications.
Products are: filters / water softeners / ultrafiltration units / standard and special reverse osmosis units and accessories for various industrial applications / heat disinfectable single and twin pass reverse osmosis units for dialysis and hospital applications incl. accessories.
You can rely on certified quality according to DIN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 13485 and benefit from the latest technology, based on 70 years of experience. Our ready-to-use reverse osmosis systems for haemodialysis purposes are certified according to MDD 93/42/EEC, Annex II excluding (4) with classi-fication as medical product class II b.
