In the NETZSCH Vacuum De-aerator, micronized gases are removed from fluids with a wide range of viscosities. By means of the VTR Principle (vacuum – thin-film – rotary process), it is possible to process products from offset ink and shampoo, for example, to a wide variety of free-flowing compounds. The throughput is product and viscosity dependent and can range from 500 to 4000 kg/h. This machine can be used to de-gas both small quantities, from interchangeable tanks in batch operation, and large batches in continuous operation.

The PUC Vacuum De-Aeration Unit type EVA was developed for the continual de-aeration and degassing of liquid through to pastelike products.
The product which is to be de-aerated is distributed in the vacuum vessel via a distribution system suited to the product. By means of the surface expansion and the related reduction in diffuse distances, oxygen, e.g. which has been finely distributed or deposited on solid particles is released and effectively removed. The temperature of the product remains unchanged during this process.
The size of the evacuation vessel is dependent on the required throughput/h and the degasification behavior (viscosity and surface tension) of the product. The necessary distribution system is also adjusted to these factors.
