A different frame can serve as a template for a wooden bench if no cover plate has yet been attached. Thus one can transfer the measurements from this example to a footrest. If this had not been the case, a drawing would be required in which the required dimensions would have to be entered. This ensures that the wooden components are all brought to the same dimensions and that in the end a uniform result is achieved which does not wobble and where everything fits together without open joints. When this is finished, the wooden bench should be regularly treated with wood stain or wood preservative to protect it from the weather.
