Greenhouses, also known as glasshouses or greenhouses, are translucent structures that allow plants to be cultivated in a controlled and protected manner. Today, greenhouses are often made of transparent plastic films or sheets. In greenhouses, the temperature is controlled and the plants are watered so that they can thrive under ideal conditions. The first greenhouse was put into operation in Germany in 1830. Initially, the first greenhouses were very expensive and were only intended for tropical plants brought from the southern regions, which were kept in a botanical garden or a zoo. Later, greenhouses were built in nurseries. And today every allotment gardener can buy a small or larger greenhouse in a DIY store.
