Tiled stoves have become more and more popular for many years. They are relatively inexpensive to use to generate cosy warmth. The tiled stove belongs to the group of indoor stoves. These furnaces are usually lined with fireclay bricks on the inside. These stones protect the environment and the components of the furnace from the heat. In addition, they ideally store the heat of the oven. So the combustion chamber of the stove is still warm, although it is already out. Outside the stove is tiled. Here there are the most different forms and colors of the tiles. The tiled stove can be used for burning wood, coal, briquettes or coke. Depending on the fuel, the cleaning of the furnace may require different efforts. Actually, the tiled stove is designed to heat wood. The combustion heat of the stove is evenly emitted into the room via the tiles. A disadvantage of the stove is that it takes some time to heat up the whole mass (tiles etc.) after the start of the fire. However, this can also be seen as an advantage, as it is still warm for a few hours after the fire has gone out. The duration of the storage depends of course on the size and the dimensions. Modern tiled stoves can even support the heating of the house with suitable heat exchangers.
