Self-limiting heating tapes HBSC and HBST

These self-limiting heating tapes adapt their heat output to the respective degree of warming of the object to be heated without exceeding the specified maximum temperature. A regulation is not necessary. If temperature differences occur in sections of the object to be heated, the heating cable also adapts in sections. As a result, these tapes can also be laid overlapping, which facilitates the heating of complicated components such as pumps, valves and branches. The heating tapes are available as yard ware for assembly on site, as well as completely assembled ex works. With appropriate connection technology, these tapes are also available in EX T5 (HBSC) and T3 (HBST). A version without outer sheath and without protective braiding is also available.
Heating tape HBC
The heating tape HBC is a low-cost heating tape with a small outer diameter and bending radius. The outer sheathing consists of a tinned copper braid which ensures excellent heat dissipation and distribution and also serves as a protective earth. Inside, PTFE-insulated heating cables are laid as a loop. The cold ends are also PTFE-insulated and provided with a protective hose.

The HBG heating cable is an inexpensive heating cable with a small outer diameter and bending radius. The outer sheathing consists of a glass fabric. Inside are PTFE-insulated heating cables with protective braiding as a loop. The cold ends are also PTFE-insulated and provided with a protective hose. Application range : up to +250°C
