Process heat, e.g. for drying, for welding plastics or for steam generation, is generated from electricity in all temperature ranges with an increasing share. Due to the high temperatures required, it is usually not possible to use waste heat from other processes. Electric heat brings among other things advantages such as a better heat dosage and thus a reduction of the primary energy requirement.
The infrared quartz glass rods come in the most different designations like quartz infrared radiators, radiation heating, quartz elements, radiant heaters, quartz infrared radiators, quartz tube radiators, bright radiators, quartz tube radiator elements in the trade.
The quartz element is a medium and long wave infrared heater and is only suitable for horizontal installation. The quartz tube radiator element is used e.g. for drying processes, grills, radiant heaters, etc. Application.
The quartz elements are made of satin-finished quartz material support tube (quartz glass tube or quartz material tube) and are available up to 2 m in length. The quartz infrared radiator is designed with an internal bare heating coil, connections with twisted ends, welded-on flat plug tongues or welded-on studs, available in external diameters of 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, wall thickness 1 mm.
