Mechanical processing can cause stresses in the material, which later lead to assembly problems or dimensional deviations. If such components are annealed in a vacuum, the stresses are reduced and possible consequential costs for error correction can be avoided. REUTER TECHNOLOGIE furnaces of various sizes are available for heat treatment. Depending on the annealing method, annealing temperatures up to a maximum of 1600 °C are possible. In case of sensitivity to oxygen, the heat treatment can also be carried out under nitrogen, argon or hydrogen. As a "side effect", the heat treatment process in vacuum leads to the removal of impurities from the surface of the components. REUTER TECHNOLOGIE therefore offers suitable follow-up processes, such as packaging in N2-flooded containers. Please feel free to contact us.
