Fabric bellows are made of composite materials. They consist of an elastic, seamless circular fabric, which is coated differently depending on the requirements, e.g. with Teflon®, nitrile or silicone rubber. This creates an enormous dimensional stability, which can be additionally reinforced with wire steel rings or spirals springs. Therefore, please ensure that an air equalization can take place. Vents can be provided by us.
Depending on the mounting position and application of the bellows, sliding bushes, supporting disks or wire rings are mounted for stabilisation. For retrofitting and for ease of assembly the bellows may be provided with a zipper or Velcro.

For heat-resistant bellows silicate or aramid fabric, Nomex® or Preox® will be used. They are resistant up to 600°C. They protect against flying sparks, radiant heat, welding sparks, metal glow, hot liquids and more.
