KMD Plastifizierungstechnik GmbH is a developer and manufacturer of high-quality extruders for plastics processing and laboratory systems for fiber spinning.

KMD has a strong research and development team with extensive experience and know-how in a variety of areas including mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, fine chemicals, plastics technology, synthetic fibers, nonwovens technology, textiles, automation and others. In addition to our internal activities, we are also involved in a large number of joint R&D projects with universities in Europe, the USA and Asia in these areas.
