Stainless steel precision parts refers to the use of stainless steel materials, through the precision machining process manufactured with high accuracy, high dimensional stability, high surface quality and complex shape of the mechanical parts. These parts are usually used in a variety of fields with very high requirements for precision and performance.

Austenitic Stainless Steel: Containing 16%-26% chromium and up to 35% nickel, it has excellent corrosion resistance and toughness, and common types include 304, 316, etc.
Ferritic stainless steel: contains 10.5%-27% chromium, does not contain nickel, good corrosion resistance, but the toughness is slightly worse, common models include 430, etc..
Martensitic stainless steel: containing 11.5%-18% chromium and 1.2% of carbon, can be strengthened by heat treatment, suitable for the manufacture of high-strength parts, such as knives, turbine components.
Duplex stainless steel: both austenitic and ferrite organisation, with high strength and good corrosion resistance, suitable for the oil and gas industry.
Precipitation Hardening Stainless Steel: Improve strength through precipitation hardening treatment, commonly used in precision parts requiring high strength and corrosion resistance.
Machining process
The machining process of stainless steel precision parts mainly includes:
Machining: such as turning, milling, grinding, etc., need to consider the work-hardening properties of stainless steel, select the appropriate tool materials and cutting parameters.
Precision casting: applicable to the manufacture of complex shaped parts, such as investment casting.
Powder metallurgy: through powder pressing and sintering, manufacturing high-precision parts, suitable for mass production.
Additive manufacturing (3D printing): using laser melting or electron beam melting technology to build complex structural parts layer by layer.

Stainess Steel a ductile and rust resistant material, can be machined directly to OEM spare parts according to designs, and also can be cast to required products. Cast prodution method is silica sol casting, defined as investment casting as well. Solustion Treatment is for stainless steel to reach required mechanical property.

Investment Cast Tolerance is based on ISO8620 CT4-6, Normal Machining Tolerance is based on DIN ISO2768. Surface can reach mirror effect after professional polish. Surface plating is also can be done.

The precise tolerances we can achieve
0.003 | The shaft diameter is less than 6 millimeters and the maximum aperture tolerance is up to 0.003 millimeters.
0.005 | If the shaft diameter is greater than 6 millimeters and the aperture tolerance is 0.005 millimeters.
0.005 | Linearity below 100mm distance, etc., with a tolerance of up to 0.005mm.
0.01 | 100 millimeters or more with a linear tolerance of up to 0.01 millimeters.
