Description:
EN1906 classification code: An 8-digit coding system is used to classify door handles.
For example, 37-0140A,
the first digit of the code indicates the applicable category, which is divided into 1-4 categories;
the second digit indicates durability, 7 represents 200,000 weeks;
the fourth digit indicates fire resistance, 0 represents not approved for use in fire or smoke door components;
the fifth digit indicates safety, 0 is for general use, 1 is for safety use;
the sixth digit indicates corrosion resistance, 0-5 corresponds to different corrosion resistance levels;
the seventh digit indicates anti-theft, 0-4 represents different anti-theft performance levels;
the eighth digit indicates the type of operation, A is auxiliary spring type, B is return spring type, and C is springless type.
Scope of application:
Applicable to door handles and ball handles with or without return springs used to operate locks or latches in buildings, including handles installed on back panels or bases.

The requirements and test methods for square shafts and fastening components are specified to ensure that their connection is firm and reliable and can withstand the torque and tension in normal use. The operating torque is limited to make the door handle easy and convenient to operate and ergonomic. At the same time, the allowable free swing and safety, free angular movement and durability requirements after improper installation are clarified to ensure stability and reliability under various use and installation conditions.
Strength requirements:
There are requirements for the static strength of door handles with or without return springs on back panels or bases to ensure that they can withstand external forces such as pushing, pulling, twisting, etc. in daily use and are not easily damaged or deformed.
Corrosion resistance:
Six corrosion resistance levels are divided according to the duration of the salt spray test, from level 0 (no requirement) to level 5 (super corrosion resistance) (480 hours of salt spray test), ensuring that the door handle has a certain degree of corrosion resistance in different environments and extends its service life.
