Our company has been involved in the art of weaving for 137 years. We therefore naturally have the standard range of braiding materials and the necessary accessories in stock. Over the last 10 years, however, we have also focused our attention on the less known to rare materials and weaving styles. On the one hand, this has to do with the orientation of the managing director Wilhlem Walterscheid jun. towards architecture and interior design, on the other hand, with the claim to also want to bring the lesser known facets of this ancient craft back into consciousness in continuation of the family tradition. Here we are interested in the manifold design possibilities of wickerwork materials in the interior of buildings and for objects of daily use in the different cultures, but also in very topical & pragmatic building ecology aspects. The objects shown on our website want to give a small impression of the creative potential of this craft.
