Machine feet, appliance feet, adjustable feet or height adjusters are available in many different shapes, sizes and designs. They usually consist of a base or a plastic plate, sometimes also a metal plate. Threaded bolts or inserts made of galvanized steel or other materials such as stainless steel, brass or aluminium are firmly injected into these plastic plates or connected to the plate by riveting or pressing. They are used to adjust the height of a wide variety of products and devices.

Laser-cut machine feet made of 15mm thick steel plates
The laser-cutting technology is by no means only suitable for thin sheets; geersCutting uses structural steel up to 20 millimetres thick for precisely fitting, individually manufactured and particularly resilient components.
For a relatively heavy industrial plant, we manufactured a small series of a total of eight machine feet made of 15 millimetre thick structural steel. These were required to compensate for uneven ground in the setting range of the machine. In addition to the workpieces as a whole, further recesses had to be cut out, through which the machine feet could then be screwed to the system in order to guarantee a secure stand.
After cutting out the "raw" steel parts, the "raw" steel parts were also coated with a black lacquer. This prevented the machine feet from rusting in their future, not quite dry operating environment.
