Membrane keyboards are flexible, flat keyboards that consist of several layers and are used in numerous applications. Technically, they are based on conductive materials that close contacts by pressure and thus register inputs. They are extremely robust, dustproof, waterproof and resistant to chemicals.

In terms of design options, membrane keypads offer numerous customization possibilities: They can be individually printed to integrate logos, symbols or color themes, for example. The keyboard surface can be provided with tactile elements such as embossing or integrated LEDs to optimize haptic feedback and visibility.
