Identification and location for goods management

With a transponder (so-called tag) in the BackPack, snap-on, pistol grip or completely integrated, handhelds can be used for position finding or navigation both indoors and outdoors. This results in interesting solutions, e.g. for warehouse management. This means that the handhelds can not only be used to scan the corresponding goods, but also to record their position during this process and store it in a warehouse management system. This enables the scanned objects to be quickly retrieved at any time. If the warehouse is also equipped with a video system, the entire handling process or goods movement can be completely documented and traced at any time. The stored information provides information about when and where which goods were scanned and also which surveillance camera recorded the process. Thus, even with extensive data material, relevant images can be found within seconds.
