2D vision sensor for object detection In automation technology today, vision sensors are an integral part of assembly, production and quality control and, last but not least, a means of increasing efficiency. These are cameras with application-specific evaluation, i.e. reliable electronic eyes, with a low price and high degree of integration. They combine illumination, optics, camera chip, evaluation and process connections for integration into the higher-level control system in a robust industrial housing. The possible applications of the object detection sensor efector dualis range from presence, position and rotational position control to sorting and counting tasks and quality assurance. The user creates a model of the object to be tested with good and bad parts via an easily understandable step-by-step parameterization software. The rotational position-independent object detection now compares the test object with the specifications from the taught-in model and sends results from good/bad to position and rotational position to the higher-level PLC. The sensor can manage up to 32 applications with up to 24 models each. 3D sensor for evaluating distance, level or volume efector pmd 3d is the first industrial 3D sensor that evaluates objects spatially at a glance. The special thing: Light travel time measurement and evaluation are integrated together on one sensor chip. Each pixel of this chip matrix evaluates the distance to the object. The image of the object on the chip matrix and the corresponding distance values correspond to a 3D image. This technology enables the detailed evaluation of different states of the object or scene by spatially measuring volume, distance or fill level. Typical applications are completeness checks and fill level monitoring in the food industry as well as presence and dimensional monitoring in conveyor technology. 3D camera for spatial acquisition of scenes and objects The pmd 3d camera captures scenes and objects at a glance in their spatial dimensions. In contrast to laser scanners, it has no moving components and is therefore robust and wear-free. The operating principle is the same as for the 3D sensor. In addition to the 3D distance image, the camera provides a gray image of the scene. The combination of these images offers integrators the possibility to freely program application-specific applications using a software development kit. This results in cost-effective solutions in the areas of packaging, storage and conveyor technology, airport logistics, collision protection, robotics, room and personnel monitoring.
