Proverbial "figureheads" made of metal adorn the entrance area of practically every large company. Not only do they generally contribute to a good overall impression, but they can also convey to visitors and employees alike what is important to the company: Seriousness, quality and durability.
But company signs and logos made of stainless steel are by no means reserved for large companies. In the form of an individual laser cut by geersCUTTING, they are also available for small and medium-sized companies - without long waiting times, in high quality and at a favourable price.
The illustrated example shows a combination of company logo, company name and slogan produced by geersCUTTING. All elements are made of stainless steel with a thickness of two millimetres. The laser cuttings are individually created for you on the basis of a file template. Since laser cutters produce three-dimensional objects, file formats from the CAD sector are used, which also contain depth information. Alternatively, you can create the file with your own CAD software based on existing 2D images, or you can use a free software provided by us. The production of stainless steel in a thickness of a few millimetres is widespread - but of course there are other ways of doing it. Aluminium or sheet metal for more filigree logos can be used as well as robust, up to 20 millimetre thick structural steel (which, for example, would allow the solid quality work of an architectural office to be communicated via the logo).
It does not always have to be high gloss either. In addition to the choice of appropriately matt base materials, the degree of reflection can also be influenced by texturing. A hatched logo or company sign may not dazzle the viewer in a direct way. Due to the unusual surface texture, it can nevertheless leave a lasting impression.
An individually manufactured, laser-cut company sign can do much more than just show the viewer where he is at the moment. A combination of source material, material thickness and texturing tailored to the respective company can also be used to subtly convey one's own core competencies and corporate values.
